We started Barked About because we felt dog beds deserved to be more than an afterthought.

Our dogs aren’t just our pets, they are a part of the family, (or in our case the leader of the family), so we wanted to make beds that stood as proud in the home as they did.

Born in London, we create beds that combine comfort, fashion, and sustainability. Each bed is handmade by a family-run manufacturer in East London using recycled velvet printed in the U.K. using a sustainable printing process. The inner cushions are filled using fibres made from recycled plastic bottles.

We have launched with a signature houndstooth design as a nod to British heritage; a pattern that was designed to stand the test of time.

Our aim is to create something different. Beds that don’t need to be hidden away or replaced when trends change. Pieces that become part of your home and can be enjoyed for years to come.

All of our covers are removable, and washable, so one beautiful bed can evolve with your home.
